Fog rolling up the mountains in Julian, CA

I took this during my second photography class at Cuyamaca College. We’d finally been given a free choice assignment and I headed up to one of my favorite one-horse towns: Julian, CA.  We were headed home when the fog started rolling over the mountains the way that  a new season slowly creeps into a city. Not San Diego with it’s two seasons of Summer and Overcast, but in other cities. My image was voted as one of the class favorites for the week.
